HAIRTALK WITH TIWATOPE;HAIR BREAKAGE,CAUSES AND REMEDIES.



Hello lovlies!,i am really sorry i have been missing in action,I have been held up with issues quite beyond my control,I am really grateful for the feed-backs gotten so far on this particular column,you guys are the best,but don't forget to comment here as those comments are like petrol to my CAR!...hehehe.
This week we will be looking at hair breakage,it's causes and remedies also as it is something almost everyone go through or has gone through.On the average,a normal human being should shed between 50-100 strands of hair a day,this is normal so you shouldn't  mistake normal shedding of hair for hair breakage,but in case you experience more or excessive shedding then it is BREAKAGE.

This problem is can be caused by so many possible factors and i will be able to discuss few,and they are;

*HAIR STYLING TOOLS OR DEVICES USED FOR HAIR PROCESSING: Devices or tools such as blow driers,flat irons,curling irons etc,can trigger hair damage and breakage in case you don't know.Minimize the use of this tools,make sure you use them only when necessary and it shouldn't be all the time,because heat from this tools penetrate the hair shaft causing hair to become more fragile and vulnerable to breakage.

*EXCESSIVE STYLING,BRUSHING,AND COMBING: Hair styling can be a reason why your hair is breaking off,when you use various chemicals you break bonds that make your hair strong and gives it the texture it has,most times these chemicals leave your hair weak and prone to breakage of course,styling requires stretching,twisting,pulling and when you do this more often your hair will break.(yes,I style my hair,because i hardly wear extensions!,and don't forget I do weekly treatment and i have a very good hair routine and at the same time I don't comb my hair everyday,and I don't over-manipulate my hair.

*LACK OF MOISTURE: When hair lacks moisture,your hair becomes too dry and can eventually break off,moisturize your hair with water,when you shower (don't shampoo) just get down water into your scalp and your entire hair and also with natural oils like almond oil,coconut oil,jojoba oil,olive oil etc.

So avoid breakage,try to limit the manipulation of your hair,avoid heat styling tools,excessive brushing or combing,moisturize your hair with water and natural oils,eat protein and take trims.
That is all for two weeks,i hope you learned something, and make sure you put everything into practice,it takes effort.
