Ebony Banks, a student from Alief Hastings in Texas nicknamed Ebob, has been out of school since a stage four diagnosis of cancer.
But her friends rallied round to make her biggest dream come true.
They started up a social media campaign with the hashtag #EBOBMEETSBEYONCE to get Queen Bey’s attention.
And thanks to the power of the Beyhive they suceeded, and Ebony got to have a chat with her idol on Wednesday.

Beyonce, who is expecting twins with her husband Jay Z, surprised her with a FaceTime call to give her her best wishes.
In a video shared on Ebony’s Snapchat, which was shared by other Beyonce fans, the singer is seen FaceTiming the teen who tells her: ‘I love you, Beyonce.’
‘I love you,’ Beyonce says.

Fellow student Karina Gutierrez previously told ABC‘Beyonce is one of her idols. She admires her so much.’

Cristal Depaz, another Alief Hastings student said: ‘We try to make sure she has a smile on her face and to make her wishes come true.’
