Good morning everyone,i was meant to do this yesterday but i was very busy,i decided on this blog every monday i will post something that can help us improve in our everyday life,motivational piece,lifestyle,relationship,guy stuffs,girl stuffs and the list goes on,but today i will be talking about treating others the way you want to be treated,it's a long post but please be patient and read to the end...
Many times i have had to settle quarrels between people especially girls and when talking to one of the parties involved i usually hear "Tomi you know what annoys me most ehn,it is that she cant accept what she did to me".I am just a small girl learning how to live in this big world but i have learnt that the golden rule(treating others the way you want to be treated) goes far beyond a certain way you treat people,it is a journey into the way you think of,feel about,and speak to others,it also goes beyond being kind,going out of your way to help but the truth is there are several times you have done this without being noticed,and sometimes it is about adjusting your views and attitudes,and for a change instead of just treating others the way you want to be treated why not think about others and the way you want to be thought of and spoken about by them,here are few rules i think can help..
1.DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WANT THEM TO DO TO YOU: Some people will say their watchword is "do me i do you" but seriously life is more than that,choose the path to guide people into a better frame of mind,if a person believes he is doing the right thing by being evasive,rude,saucy make them see the errors in their ways and always be open as well you shouldnt feel like an omniknoweth.
2.SPEAK TO AND OF OTHERS THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE SPOKEN TO AND ABOUT: We are all guity of talking about other people(dont even try forming self righteous) but trying to place people in certain positions to suit the way you want your life is ridiculous,everyone is different and cannot fit there just because you want them to,and stop speaking bad about someone just because you dislike them(even im guilty here).
3. FEEL ABOUT OTHERS THE WAY YOU WANT TO FEEL ABOUT YOU: Holding on to harsh feelings will only harm you,and make you indifferent towards love,care and affection and whwn someone tries showing a little affection it is frowned upon,try to think well of others and let go of all hard feelings,life is too short to live it hating someone over and over again.
4.THINK OF OTHERS THE WAY YOU WILL LIKE TO BE THOUGHT OF: Avoid thinking or speaking pitifully or bad of someone,thinking you are superior or better than another person is not a beneficial way of thinking BE HUMBLE!,even if you will like to help someone do it out of pure love and not out of pity,make an effort to respect those who dont deserve it,make it hard for people to hate you,make it impossible for them not to respect you,make it dificult for them not to see the radiant light you portray.
