This couple literally almost made me cry while i was talking to them, because you could actually see and feel their love .It was just something too strong and i pray may your love never go sour,you won't be faced with challenges beyond your power,may may you continue to grow in love so your lives will be a model for other people,okay enough of me let me take you through their love journey.
FROM THE BRIDE TO BE CYNTHIA.
My name is Cynthia Chiamaka Ezikeiheoma. Actually i have known my love since i was a kid but we never even thought we could ever date not to even talk of getting married,his younger sister used to come pick me from my house for block rosary(a catholic church program),he was seen as one big bro then and i can't remember we talked not even saying hello.After sometime his family moved from the area where we lived so that was the end to even seeing him then.But as fate would have it our paths crossed again on the 8th of March 2014,i was just right in front of Ikeja shopping mall waiting for a guy who at that time was pestering me with all sorts of marriage talks,so he was driving in and he saw my side view and he he was already admiring the view(i am cute like that*winks*).As if i knew someone was watching i turned towards his direction and he just shouted ADA! and me not remembering his name also shouted BROTHER!*imagine*,but the thing i really cant fathom the joy i felt deep within after seeing him.His phones were off so he gave me his contacts to buzz him,seriously the normal me won't even save it but i saved it immediately,after i left that annoying marriage dude, i met with another friend of mine with whom i wanted to get my birthday cake who because my birthday was just few days away,we met again inside the mall and i didn't even know he was still there,when he saw me with my friend you won't believe he was already jealous,asking who the guy was,telling him to make sure i got home safely because i was his kid sis*imagine!*,so we started talking after that day and few days after my birthday he made his intentions clear, and that is how it all started.we dated for like a year which is from my last birthday to this year's when he actually proposed.
It happened just like every girls' dream but mine was even more special,he proposed on my birthday March 11 2015 and i didn't even see it coming,he didn't even talk to me until i pinged him and told him he had not wished me 'HBD',then he asked "what difference would it make"?.I felt terrible and i thought he had something up his sleeves but not a proposal,and he also told me to save the last dance for him.In the evening he took me out to dinner to Protea hotel Ikeja,where he proposed and i could not hold back from saying YES!.
WHAT MAKES HIM DIFFERENT FROM OTHER GUYS YOU HAVE MET??
Truth is nobody is perfect,i have my flaws and so does he(but i love him like that),he is just wonderfully different in his own unique ways,i feel he was made for me.
ADVICE FOR PEOPLE HAVING HARD TIMES IN A RELATIONSHIP,SINGLE GIRLS AND THOSE WHO HAVE GIVEN UP ON LOVE...
Truth is it is never easy. Different issues will spring up,but if you know what you truly want, you have to give it your all,and most importantly if God has his hands in it it will definitely work out,,even if thereare issues,you will always find your way back. Love is an awesome feeling with its ups and downs but love is truly out there,never give up on love,it's real and it would definitely find you when it's time.
WHERE AND WHEN DID YOU MEET?
Well,everything she said is right,that's my soul right there,the woman my heart beats for in seconds larger than life itself.What can be better than a relationship that goes way back?,both family in good "connects",love built out of sincere friendship and care,nutured through thick and thin,no matter the difficulties where we are both willing to make our love grow and blossom than any love story ever told; even Romeo and Juliet can't be compared to us considering how determined we are at making US work.(i'm i the only one awww'ing?)
HOW DID YOU GO ABOUT THE PROPOSAL?
It was on March 11th 2015,a great Tuesday to cherish forever,i had her mum a an accomplice in planning a surprise engagement dinner at Protea hotel,Ikeja,with pretense of forming quarrel so as to put her off guard and not to give away any clue of my sweet plot of romance,i refused to call her almost all day. I ignored her several calls and texts from her to make peace believing she had offended me in a way,but she had her mum assuring her everything was fine because she knew what was going on. Then at about 8pm after i had made a bouquet arrangement at the hotel with a chef and waiter,i drove to her place requesting that she dressed nice that i wanted to take her out,reluctantly she agreed and asked why i had been ignoring her,then as a romantic guy operates, i soothed her nerves by kissing her on the neck,and then came that sweet smile from her beautiful soft face that makes a man's heart beat in rapid pulse of impulse and a reason to defy gravity and just fly on angel's wings. Then opening the door like a gentle man, i decided to cruise rather than drive within speed limit of about 50km/hr with the right songs playing her favorite song best of me by Tyrese which further helped the serenity of the awesome calmness as i stole moments to stare at her remembering how lucky i was to have her become the mother of my unborn kids,ours eyes met and she smiled and asked what but my expressions said it all,that i was crazy about her!.
Arriving at the hotel,we called for our meal starters before the main course,sipping our drinks the main course came which had the engagement ring in her plate, i asked her to eat. I can never forget that OMG! look on her face,then she started crying happily,we hugged and she held me so tight like never before while everyone around us kept shouting SAY YES,SAY YES,then i went on my knees knowing she was all i had visioned as my bride,willing to have that life ride with her no matter what tide.
hmm!,my words can't explain that but in sincerity she is the first girl i have ever prayed to God about,for guide and spirit of love, considering God is love,for courage and determination to make my relationship work regardless all trials. In plain words it was highly spiritual,a feeling beyond flesh,shape,size,wealth and everything.
ADVICE FOR GUYS OUT THERE.
Love is never in respect of one's age,bank acct,or readiness,just follow your heart and never give up too soon,because at a point the probability of the relationship working out seems like impossible,but your inner strength of willingness will help,talk..talk..and never stop talking about what and how to work together to be better at loving each other. Like in my case,examining every matter helped, learning to listen to each other no matter how wrong or right any of us might be at that time. Most importantly, Men should learn how to say sorry even when it is not necessary and not finding avenue to point fingers.
